Tamara Nathanovna Eidelman, a historian, lecturer, writer, educator, and popular YouTuber with an audience of over 1 million subscribers, will give a lecture on the topic of "How Propaganda Works" in Prague on May 28.
At the end of 2022, Tamara Natanovna visited many European cities, giving lectures — and there were no empty seats in all the halls. In November, Tamara Eidelman already came to Prague with a lecture “The Court of History”, and now the topic of her speech is “How Propaganda Works".
In different historical periods, similar methods were used to manipulate the minds of thousands and millions of people. Although propaganda today has more powerful technical means, how did millions of people suddenly believe those crazy and cruel things they were told? Perhaps propaganda found those weak points that make people vulnerable. In her lecture, Eidelman will try to find answers to these questions, explore the history and mechanisms of propaganda, and discuss ways to protect oneself from its influence.
The lecture “How Propaganda Works" will be held in Prague on May 28 at 7 pm, in the space of the IMAGE THEATRE at the address Národní 25, Praha 1.
The lecture will be held in Russian.
