In this workshop we learn an Egyptian saidi dance choreography with two assayas (sticks).

Salah Rambo is a multitalented dance teacher from Cairo, Egypt. He is fluent in Egyptian folkloric dance, Egyptian street dance, ballet, contemporary dance and hip-hop. Once a member of the famous Reda troupe, Salah became a respected dance teacher in the Cairo Academy of Arts and a soloist in the Cairo Opera contemporary dance company „Forsan el Shark“. Salah is now based in Tallinn, Estonia, but as an international teacher he has taught Egyptian dance also in festivals in Finland, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Germany. Salah opened his dance school "S&K dance world" in Tallinn, Estonia in 2018 where he teaches children and adults ballet, contemporary and hip-hop styles. He has a Bachelor's degree from the Academy of Arts of Egypt, Higher Institute of Ballet and a Master's degree in Egyptian Traditions and Folklore from the Institute of Folklore.
The workshop is part of the 14th International Oriental Dance Festival. This is the largest Oriental dance event in Estonia with Oriental dance workshops, gala show, open-stage shows, a film screening and an Oriental bazaar. The event brings together dancers from every corner of Estonia, the neighbouring countries and beyond.
