Tamara Eidelman — historian, writer, educator, and creator of a popular YouTube channel with over 1 million subscribers — will give a lecture titled "How Propaganda Works" in Amsterdam on October 13 at 19:00.
For centuries, the methods used to manipulate the minds of thousands and even millions have remained largely unchanged. Today, propagandists have access to far more powerful technologies — but why do millions suddenly start believing the most outrageous and cruel ideas? Could it be that propaganda has found the weak spots that leave people defenseless? Is it possible to resist its influence?
Together with the audience, Tamara Eidelman will explore these questions, delve into the history and mechanisms of propaganda, and examine how it affects the human mind.
After the lecture, there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask Tamara Eidelman questions.
When: October 13 at 19:00
