Join us for a special one-day conference celebrating Shumei Natural Agriculture, held at the beautiful Springfort Hall Hotel, Mallow, Co. Cork, on Saturday, 17th October 2026.

This unique event brings together practitioners and friends of Natural Agriculture to share experiences, knowledge, and inspiration. Whether you are already practising Natural Agriculture or simply interested in sustainable and nature-friendly ways of growing food, everyone is welcome.

Speakers & Hosts

Shinya Imahashi

Shinya has been practising Natural Agriculture for 24 years, including 5 years in Japan and 19 years in the UK.

He leads a Natural Agriculture Learning Programme with more than 14,000 participants and serves as a Natural Agriculture advisor in Japan and across Europe. He is also a YouTuber with over 60,000 subscribers, sharing his vision and experience of sustainable farming with people around the world.

Tommy Uesaka Tommy is the farm manager for Shumei Yatesbury Farm in Wiltshire, UK. He formerly oversaw the Natural Agriculture project at the Botanical Garden in Wales and will attend the UN-led summit about Conscience food systems in Bhutan as a representative of Shumei in September.

Micheál Ó Drisleáin

Micheál Ó Drisleáin is a fully qualified organic farmer based in West Waterford, where he runs a small mixed organic farm.

He grows a range of organic vegetables and has a particular interest in sustainable food production, biodiversity, and farming in harmony with nature.

Micheál also keeps alpacas and one of the world's rarest native equine breeds, the critically endangered Kerry Bog Pony. As Chairperson of the Kerry Bog Pony Society, he is actively involved in the conservation and promotion of this unique Irish breed. He believes that protecting native livestock is an important part of safeguarding Ireland's natural and cultural heritage.He also grows vegetables using Shumei Natural Agriculture seeds.
