If you can make it, you will enjoy it! We are adding a bonus event to the end of May with Champagne Moutard & their Export Manager Jean-Benoit Hery!
Jean-Benoit will introduce the history and current vibes of Moutard, and we will be tasting their champagnes.
The list will include six sparkling wines from Burgundy to Champagne, from Chardonnay to some rare grapes like Petit Meslier or Arbane.
Famille Moutard is a prominent, family-owned champagne producer located in Buxeuil within the Côte des Bar region. They are highly celebrated for their dedication to cultivating rare, ancestral grape varieties such as Arbane, Petit Meslier, and Pinot Blanc. Emphasizing exceptional vintage depth, they utilize old vines that are well over 35 years old. Their meticulous approach combines traditional winemaking methods with innovative techniques, resulting in distinct, terroir-driven champagnes possessing remarkable character, purity, and fantastic long-term cellar aging potential for collectors.
