Terms and Conditions for Flower Arranging Event
1. General Information
1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Flower Arranging Event organized by The East Kilbride Community Trust. By registering for or attending the Event, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1.2 The Event will take place on March 29th, at Westwood Parish Church. Specific event details will be communicated via email upon successful registration.
2. Registration
2.1 Participants must register through the official Event registration form by March 29th.
2.2 Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to availability.
2.3 The registration fee is £25, payable at the time of registration. This fee is non-refundable unless the Event is canceled by the Organizer (see Section 7).
3. Eligibility
3.1 The Event is open to individuals aged 12 and above. Under 18s’ must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
3.2 The Organizer reserves the right to refuse or cancel registration at their discretion.
4. Event Participation
4.1 All materials required for the flower arranging activities will be provided by the Organizer.
4.2 Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Event location.
4.3 The Organizer expects all participants to behave respectfully and safely during the Event. The Organizer reserves the right to remove participants who engage in disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior without a refund.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 All content, designs, and materials provided during the Event are the intellectual property of the Organizer or its partners and may not be copied, distributed, or used without prior written consent.
6. Liability
6.1 Participants assume all risks associated with their participation in the Event. The Organizer is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property incurred during the Event, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
6.2 The Organizer is not liable for any allergies or medical issues arising from handling flowers, tools, or other materials during the Event. Participants with known allergies are advised to take necessary precautions.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
7.1 The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, low enrollment, or other emergencies. In such cases, participants will be notified promptly and offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a rescheduled date.
7.2 Participants who are unable to attend the Event after registering may transfer their registration to another individual with prior notice to the Organizer. No refunds will be issued for cancellations initiated by participants.
8. Photography and Media Release
8.1 By attending the Event, participants consent to being photographed or recorded by the Organizer or its representatives for promotional purposes.
8.2 Participants who do not wish to be photographed must notify the Organizer in writing before the Event.
9. Privacy
9.1 The Organizer will collect and process personal information provided during registration in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Your information will only be used for Event-related communications and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
10 Agreement to Terms
10.1 By registering for or attending the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
