Momiji is a festival focused on introducing and enjoying Japanese culture. Attendees of the event will have the opportunity to listen to different presentations, participate in interesting workshops, observe martial arts demonstrations and lots more. Instructors and presenters are people who are specialists and/or enthusiasts of the fields they share with us.

The festival is a successor to the Japan Month event that started back in 2015 in parallel with the Japanese pop culture festival AniMatsuri.

Momiji will be happening on the 8th of October at 12:00, the doors will open at 11:30.

The festival schedule is up on our website at www.jaapan.eu/momiji

Everyone interested in Japanese culture is welcome to join, but also everyone just interested in seeing what's going on.

The organizer of Momiji is NPO Japanese Culture Club Asashio in cooperation with their sponsors/partners. The head sponsor of the event is the City of Tartu, partners are the Japanese Embassy in Estonia, the Japanese Foundation and Elektriteater.
