Take a step back from the rush of everyday life and find peace and clarity during this Meditative Saturday, guided by experienced Buddhist monks. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice mindfulness and concentration techniques that foster inner peace and restore joyful harmony to the mind.

Who is this retreat for?
Meditative Saturday is suitable for everyone. Beginners who want to learn and develop mindfulness, as well as experienced practitioners looking to deepen and enrich their meditation practice.

Language: The guided meditation is organised in Estonian and English.

What does the retreat offer?

  • Guided meditation practice: Learn to cultivate mindfulness of the body, feelings, thoughts, and consciousness (sati) and develop boundless, all-encompassing loving-kindness (mettā).
  • Training mindfulness in four postures: Practice awareness and focus while sitting, standing, walking, and lying down.
  • Silence practice: Maintain silence throughout the retreat to enhance concentration and deepen inner peace.
  • Personal guidance: Individual discussions with the teacher to address all your questions.

Teachers:

  • Venerable Ṭhitañāṇa (Dr. Andrus Kahn): Meditation and dhamma teacher, PhD in Buddhist Studies, mindfulness master.
  • Novice Monk Mettābodhi: Meditation guide with 10 years of experience in developing mettā.

Participation Fee:

Teaching dhamma, guided meditation sessions, feedback, and dhamma materials (books, brochures, etc.) are free for all participants.
The participation fee is taken to cover retreat expenses such as catering, electricity, transportation, and meals for the monks.

If you feel inspired to support the monks' dhamma work in Estonia, you are welcome to add a donation of your choice on top of the contribution amount.
