What does devotion feel like in the body? What does submission have in common with prayer? And what happens when shame — the oldest tool of religious control — becomes the very thing we reclaim in a dungeon?
Kultus Club hosts an intimate panel discussion exploring the profound, troubling, and genuinely erotic connections between spiritual and kink experience. No detached academic exercise — this is a conversation between practitioners who live at this intersection.
The Panel:
Joelle Marcelle / Mother Ella (she/her) — somatic coach, bodyworker, and kink facilitator. Joelle holds a Bachelor's in Theology (cum laude) from the University of Tartu and a Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt Divinity School. Her work sits at the meeting point of somatics, neuroscience-informed theology, and BDSM — exploring how spiritual and sexual experience share a grammar of transcendence, communion, and surrender. In her worldview, salvation is the word becoming flesh: the radical act of embodying your most authentic self, including — especially — the parts locked beneath shame.

Mx Eve — international dominatrix of Vilnius and London, whose practice is steeped in High Protocol, ritual, and the erotics of worship. Catholicism has been a lifelong source of fascination and inspiration: the obedience, the pain, the devotion of a congregation before its god. Eve brings that lens — serious, curious, and unrepentantly perverse — to the table.

Thalia Hel — professional dominatrix, sadist, and kink educator. Owner of Kultus Club Tallinn. Thalia's practice is grounded in consent culture, somatic intelligence, and the belief that kink space, at its best, functions as a container for genuine self-discovery. She facilitates.

@Mme_Lilly - London-based dominatrix with 15 years in the scene. Gothic, precise, and deeply embodied in her practice — Miss Lilly brings the practitioner's perspective on power, ritual, and the choreography of surrender.

Threads we'll pull on:
— Kink and religion as parallel technologies of altered states
— Shame as both wound and doorway
— Taboo as aphrodisiac
— Ritual, protocol, and the erotics of devotion
— The submissive body and the mystic body — where do they meet?
— Neuroscience, transcendence, and what's actually happening when we go under
This is an open, curiosity-led conversation.
Questions from the audience are welcomed.
No prior knowledge of theology or kink required — only genuine interest.
