Pony Pracht (DE) | Cloud Machine Pop from Leipzig

Piektdien, 18. septembrī, plkst. 20.00 M/House of Jazz uzstāsies Leipcigas dziedātājas un multimediju mākslinieces Lisa Zwinzscher solo projekts Pony Pracht.

Pony Pracht mūzika balansē starp avant-pop, dreamtronica un cloud pop. Slāni pa slānim viņa veido blīvu, dzīvu skaņas telpu, kur maigs un uzmanīgi niansēts vokāls saplūst ar elektroniku, ritmiskiem impulsiem un eksperimentālām skaņu struktūrām.

Būtiska Pony Pracht daiļrades daļa ir īpaši radītais instruments The Ponyphone — harmonisks instruments, kas veidots tikai no vokālajiem paraugiem un kalpo par pamatu viņas unikālajām kompozīcijām. Savā radošajā procesā māksliniece pēta arī mākslīgā intelekta iespējas, izmantojot to kā sadarbības partneri — tostarp duetos ar pašas klonētu balsi un algoritmiski radītos tekstos, kas dziesmām piešķir tehnoloģiski poētisku dimensiju.

Leipcigas izdevniecībā Schatulle Bömm, 2023.gadā, tika izdots Pony Pracht debijas EP Lomb. Māksliniece pati veidojusi arī tā videoklipus, bet singlam Aics. radījusi interaktīvu mūzikas videospēli, turpinot paplašināt robežas starp mūziku, vizuālo mākslu un digitālajām tehnoloģijām.

On Friday, September 18, at 8:00 p.m., M/House of Jazz will host a performance by Pony Pracht, the solo project of Leipzig-based singer and multimedia artist Lisa Zwinzscher.

Pony Pracht’s music balances between avant-pop, dreamtronica, and cloud pop. Layer by layer, she creates a dense, vibrant soundscape where gentle and carefully nuanced vocals blend with electronics, rhythmic impulses, and experimental sound structures.

A key part of Pony Pracht’s creative process is the specially designed instrument The Ponyphone—a harmonic instrument composed entirely of vocal samples that serves as the foundation for her unique compositions. In her creative process, the artist also explores the possibilities of artificial intelligence, using it as a collaborative partner—including in duets with her own cloned voice and algorithmically generated lyrics, which lend the songs a technologically poetic dimension.

Pony Pracht’s debut EP, Lomb, was released in 2023 by the Leipzig-based label Schatulle Bömm. The artist created the music videos herself, and for the single “Aics.”, she developed an interactive music video game, continuing to push the boundaries between music, visual art, and digital technologies.
