The international music project "Lullaby for a Son" was born from the fire of war.
This manifesto carries an idea that is both utopian and filled with fearless idealism and determination to raise its voice against Russia’s barbaric invasion of Ukraine.
A lullaby, in any language, sounds like a prayer, like a spell.
This is not just a concert, but an atmospheric musical and visual performance, woven from Ukrainian and Russian lullabies.
It is a musical experiment in which the sounds of an Argentinian guitar, a chamber string quintet, a jazz saxophone and a mother’s voice come together: soothing, lulling, and filled with boundless love.
The lullaby, as a symbol of hope, but also as a protest against absolute evil, as a cry of "wake up!", can and must sound louder today.
