In Lonitseera, satirical humour meets lyrical heartfulness. The band's artistic director, Kaisa Kuslapuu, cites the stationary gravel pile in front of her childhood home and growing up with Estonian pop music as her biggest influences. Both listeners and band members have attempted to describe Lonitseera's musical style, but it has proven quite challenging. Therefore, terms like "dramatic indie jazz pop," "subtle humour with a good bass," or "fairly sing-along-able music" have been used. Lonitseera's debut album "Tapeet" (2022) was warmly received by both fans and critics, and it won the Best Singer-Songwriter Album award at the 2023 Estonian Music Awards.
Come and enjoy Lonitseera's concert at the Võru Folklore Dance Festival on July 12th from 20:00 to 21:00 at the F. R. Kreutzwald Museum's outdoor stage!
