Minsk Arena

Hi guys,

My name is Terry, and I’m a stand-up comic from Belarus who performs mainly in English. You probably never heard of me, but I’m incredibly popular in the future. Hopefully.

Unfortunately, due to the political situation in my home country, I was pursued by the Belarusian userper authorities for my jokes and general attitude towards the self-proclaimed president and his servants. So, as an honest man who can’t keep my mouth shut, one of many, I can’t go back to Belarus. For now.

However, I see a bright future, and I am learning to plan ahead. I figured that some people found me funny already, and I’ve been doing comedy for less than 5 years, so in like ten more years, I’ll craft my art of comedy to the level good enough to gather arenas. Of course, I’m aiming for the biggest arena in my home country. The date I’ve chosen is the day I turn 50.

I’ve contacted the venue already, don’t worry. They’ve seen my request, but never replied. It’s okay, though, we have to overthrow the government before that, speak with the proper administration of such arenas, etc. But that’s details. I’m determined.

Like one of my most popular jokes says, “Doing stand-up in English in Europe as a no-name comedian feels exactly like being a gay rights activist. It’s extremely brave and noble, but in the end, you’re fucked”.

To get just a little recognition, you have to invest in everything: venues to rent, ads to let people know about your events, equipment to film, bus/train/plane tickets to perform outside your best town, and that’s not even half of it. Some say, even my teeth need an investment for me to perform in some places.

In other words, if I did charity events for cancer patients, their medical bills would’ve grown by $200 with every gig I threw for them.

Many stand-up comics and content creators are using platforms like BuyMeACoffee or OnlyFans for their fanbase to support them. I don’t have a fanbase, and i want to build one without these platforms. So, of course, those are valid tickets. But in reality, it’s a fundraiser for a not-so-young talent. So if you want to support me, now you know how.

Also, I will organize many shows to craft my skills in between, weekly, or even more frequently. You can always ask check out schedule, ask for discounts, and support comedy. My next show is in Warsaw, but let me know if you’d like to see me in a city or town closer to you.

Now, to the technicalities.

The ticketing operator wouldn’t allow creating events past 2038, so we’ll throw in a testing gig in 2037. So we’ll test some things on August 18th, 2037, and will do the main show 2 years later. Tickets are valid for both events. Any supporter will get their money’s worth show.

Obviously, the organizer has the right to reschedule events and transfer them to another venue. However, we’re aiming not to. And we believe we won’t have to. All the tickets have free seating, first-come, first-served. Doesn't matter if the ticket is worth $10, $25, or $100. The prices won't change even if the US dollar collapses.

Bad news: Age Restriction: 18+. Good news: chances are you’re turning 18 by 2039 anyway.
