Experience the raw power of death metal on August 27th at Club Tapper! Taking the stage are the U.S. veterans Left To Die and Incantation, along with our own old-school death metal band, Deceitome.

LEFT TO DIE pays tribute to the immortal DEATH, which was Chuck Schuldiner’s (died in 2001) band. Similar to the world-famous tribute band Death To All, LEFT TO DIE includes former band members such as Terry Butler (Obituary, ex-Massacre, etc.) and Rick Rozz (ex-Massacre, Mantas, etc.), who have teamed up with Gruesome’s founding members: vocalist-guitarist Matt Harvey (Exhumed, ex-Repulsion, ex-Death DTA (live) and drummer Gus Rios (ex-Malevolent Creation, etc.).

This musically seasoned quartet, steeped in death metal, focuses on the early years of DEATH and will perform the entire legendary "Leprosy" album as well as tracks from DEATH’s debut album "Scream Bloody Gore," about which Terry Butler said, "It’s a great honor to play songs from 'Leprosy' after all these years. It’s been over 30 years since Rick and I played these songs together, and Matt and Gus are the perfect companions – huge fans of Death and superb musicians to play with."

Expect a journey back in time to 1988, to the roots of death metal, as the performance will be as fierce and uncompromising as the original. Don't miss this rare opportunity to relive the history of death metal.

Incantation, led by John McEntee, is celebrating its 35th year of operation. Defying the passage of time, their music remains as brutal and intense as ever. Fans of classic albums like "Onward to Golgotha" and "Mortal Throne of Nazarene" will find that the band's newer material has the same ferocious spirit. Prepare for a performance filled with dark, sinister melodies and brutal death metal elements – witness the unwavering power of Incantation!

Supporting them domestically is DECEITOME, a band that has been cultivating old-school death metal for nearly a decade and is now ready to present uncompromising mid-tempo death metal with a renewed lineup. Keep an eye out, as Deceitome's second full-length album will be released at the end of September under the Dutch label Raw Skull!
