Description
The Raschèr Saxophone Quartet has been dubbed “the uncrowned king of saxophones” by the Austrian newspaper Wiener Zeitung. Founded in the United States in 1969, the ensemble has inspired more than 300 composers to write and dedicate works to this special high-profile group. With their beautiful tone, excellent ensemble skills and dynamic interpretations of both old and new music, they are known all over the world.

The Raschèr Saxophone Quartet will be performing at the Arvo Pärt Centre for the second time, presenting works by Béla Bartók, Johann Sebastian Bach, Jay Schwartz and Arvo Pärt at the Centre’s final February concert. The concert will also feature the mezzo-soprano Christina Bock.

Tickets 25€/15€/50€ are available through Fienta or at the center's information desk.
