Some festivals are made for watching. Klaperjaht is made for living every moment.

Have you ever stood just metres away as a multi-tonne off-road vehicle plunges into the mud, its engine roaring while hundreds of spectators hold their breath?
That is Klaperjaht.
Three days where asphalt no longer matters. What matters is courage, ingenuity, teamwork and the ability to keep going where most people would have given up long ago.
But Klaperjaht is not just for competitors. It is a weekend to enjoy with friends, family and children — for everyone who wants to experience something real.
During the day, you can cheer on some of the best off-road teams from Estonia and neighbouring countries. Competitors will battle it out in Enduro, TR-1, TR-2, TR-3, ATV, truck and many other classes. Every course is different, and every race can take an unexpected turn.
And when simply watching is not enough, you can join the action yourself.
Put together a team and test your skills in geocaching, tug-of-war, the all-comers’ off-road heptathlon or the extreme winchman’s run. You can also take part in a touring adventure, night driving, off-road vehicle kiiking, an off-road circuit and a wide range of other activities suitable for both first-time adventurers and experienced off-road enthusiasts.
There will be plenty to keep even the youngest visitors entertained. The children’s area offers activities throughout the festival, including a driving track with small electric off-road vehicles where future adventurers can take their first steps into the world of off-roading.
As the sun begins to set, the entire festival area transforms into a lively summer-night gathering place. On Friday evening, Plaan G will bring the sound of 1980s rock to the stage. On Saturday, you can enjoy well-loved Estonian rock classics before the night continues with the traditional Klaperjaht disco.
Between the action, you can grab something to eat, explore the festival market, pick up a humorous Klaperjaht T-shirt or simply sit around the campfire with friends and enjoy an atmosphere you will not find anywhere else.
And when your legs are tired after a full day of exploring, the massage bus in the festival area will help get them moving again.
Klaperjaht does not ask whether your boots are muddy. Klaperjaht makes sure they will be by the end of the day.
Bring your family, your friends and a good mood. Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty — because here, the mud is part of the experience.

GOOD TO KNOW
Bring your own tents and sleeping equipment. A designated camping area is available on site, along with several food vendors, hand-washing water, portable toilets and the other essentials needed for a comfortable festival weekend.
Spectators should be aware that parking areas cannot be considered completely secure. Do not leave valuables unattended inside vehicles or elsewhere in the parking area.
Children under the age of 16 must not be left unattended within the competition area. Unsupervised children who refuse to follow instructions given by race officials or the security team may be handed over to the police.
Intoxicated spectators who ignore safety regulations, refuse to follow instructions from the security team or disturb other visitors may also be removed from the festival area and placed under police supervision.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Off-road motorsport is exciting, but it also involves real risks. Please read the following instructions carefully and follow them throughout the festival.
On faster sections of the course, especially near bends, there is a risk of competition vehicles rolling over. Maintain a safety distance of at least 10 metres.
Near steep climbs and obstacles, loose mud, stones and other track material may be thrown from beneath the wheels of competition vehicles at very high speed. Maintain a safety distance of at least 10 metres.
When you see a competition vehicle using its winch, never stand or watch directly in line with the winch cable — either in front of or behind the vehicle. The safer position is to the side, at a distance of no less than 10 metres.
On wooded sections of the course, falling trees may present an unexpected danger. An off-road vehicle that loses its intended speed or direction may collide with a tree, which can cause the tree to fall rapidly. Keep at least 10 metres away from these areas whenever possible.
Entering or remaining within areas marked by course tape is strictly prohibited, as these areas are used by competition vehicles. Crossing the course is generally permitted only under the direct supervision of a race official or course safety marshal.
Where an orange safety fence or yellow safety tape has been installed in addition to the regular course markings, entering the area between the safety barrier and the course boundary is strictly forbidden.
Take particular care when selecting a viewing position near steep climbs and descents. Never stand directly in the path of a downhill section, as a vehicle coming down a slope may be impossible to control. At the foot of a hill, maintain a safety radius of at least 20 metres and always choose a position that allows you to move away quickly if necessary.
Always listen to and follow the instructions of the security team and race officials. They can be recognised by their specially marked clothing. They have received specific safety training and are better equipped to assess possible hazards.
When you notice that a friend, another spectator or anyone nearby may be in danger, help them move to safety, warn them of the risk or inform a clearly marked member of the course staff.
Behave responsibly and respectfully beside the course. Do not throw rubbish into bushes, behind trees or into other hard-to-reach places, as this makes cleaning the area much more difficult.
By behaving considerately, you set a good example for others and help us create a safe and enjoyable atmosphere in which everyone can experience the excitement of Klaperjaht together.
