Join Ranger Toni and Forest School Leader Pauline on Tuesday the 29th of July at 1pm to explore who lives in Barhill Wood.
We will be keeping our eyes peeled and using our tracking skills to find out who exactly lives and uses Barhill Wood. Join us as we look at the life of a squirrel, and maybe even create our own squirrels using different materials!
This is session is for children aged 8-12 years old. Children can be left unaccompanied, but parents and guardians are more than welcome to stay and play too! Children will be supervised by 2 Forest School Leaders who are PVG checked. Please note: If your child requires additional support or has behavioural needs, we kindly ask that a parent or carer accompanies them during the session, as we are unable to provide 1:1 support.
These events are led by Dumfries & Galloway Woodlands with funding from the D&G Coastal Benefit Fund and the Solway Coast & Marine Project (SCAMP).
Dumfries & Galloway Woodlands is a charity supporting trees, habitats and the people that depend upon them in our region. For more information about our organisation, or to sign up as a member, visit www.dgwoodlands.org.uk or follow us on social media!
