Kirill Richter, internationally acclaimed composer and one of the most prominent figures on the contemporary neoclassical music scene, brings Seven Ages to London, a concert conceived as a musical journey through the stages of human life, from innocence to memory.
Taking its title from Shakespeare's meditation on the seven ages of man, the programme traces an emotional arc through Richter's expressive minimalism and cinematic sound world, weaving together works old and new.
Richter's music is widely recognised beyond the concert hall, frequently featured in film, theatre, opera, and large-scale media projects. His composition Where Angels Fear to Tread was chosen as the official musical theme for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, reaching an audience of millions worldwide.
On stage, Kirill Richter will be joined by the RICHTER TRIO, featuring violinist Jérémie Visseaux and cellist August Krepak. Together they invite the audience to move through time itself, from first breath to legacy, in an evening of music that is as intimate as it is monumental.
