JOJO RABBIT: FILM ANALYSIS

Saturday 14. June at 19:30 - 23:30

FOMO Secret Cinema, Bazari Orbeliani

FOMO is pleased to announce Tbilisi-based director Dmitry Grigoriev will be giving a guest lecture in English this Saturday 14 June in our Secret Cinema.

The title of the lecture is "Filmmaking Techniques in JOJO RABBIT"

The evening will start at 19:30 with a meet and great, before a brief introduction at 19:50. The film will be screened at 20:00, after which Dmitry will present a deep-dive of the filmmaking techniques behind Taiki Waititi's directing style.

This will NOT be a talk about the historical or cultural meaning behind the film. Dmitry will give a detailed discussion about filmmaking craft and techniques, covering everything from directing, editing, blocking, cinematography, sound design, the lot!

This notably well-crafted film seems to us to be a great starting point for a recurring series of meetings here at FOMO uniting the local filmmaking community. If it is well attended we will present these film analyses as a regular event.

Guests will also have the opportunity to ask questions and actively participate in the discussion. We have only 22 spaces, and expect them to sell out fast so get your tickets early.
