JCI WC2019: Lighted raft tours on the magical lake

Tue 5. November 2019 at 14:00 - 19:00

Rummu Quarry. Organized transport from front of Radisson Blu Olümpia · Liivalaia 33, Tallinn, Estonia

Rummu has earned the status of a legendary place in history, tourism, and scuba diving. In 1938, a prison camp was opened there. The prisoners were used to mine the so-called Vasalemma limestone from the quarry. We will “fly” over this underwater world after the sun has set. We will use lights to guide us and glide over underwater forests and the roofs of the miniature Atlantis, and try to find sleeping schools of fish in the crowns. We will use green, white, blue, and red lights to peek in the thicket of reeds and under the limestone coast.

Light rafts have 6 seats. Everyone has to row on the raft.
Alcohol consumption before and during the trip is not allowed!
Recommended clothing: weatherproof, warm and windproof, raincoat if necessary. Wearing hat and gloves are strongly recommended. Also, bring something warm to place under sitting (blanket, plaid).
