Tartu Loodusmaja kutsub sügisesse metsa seenematkale!

Seenematk algab Tõravere raudteejaamast, kust suundume üheskoos Vapramäe mitmekesistesse metsadesse seentega tutvuma.

Vapramäe vaheldusrikas maastik ning eri tüüpi metsaelupaigad pakuvad suurepäraseid kasvukohti paljudele seentele. Retkel õpime tundma nii tavalisemaid söödavaid kui ka mürgiseid seeni, aga õpime märkama ka erinevaid puuseeni ja samblikke. Räägime seente ökoloogiast ning sellest, kuidas seeni loodust säästvalt korjata.

Retke juhendab kogenud seeneasjatundja, kes jagab praktilisi nõuandeid seente määramise, korjamise ja ohutu tarvitamise kohta ning aitab määrata retke jooksul leitud liike.

Matkal:

• avastad Vapramäe metsade mitmekesist seeneriiki;
• saad praktilisi nõuandeid seente määramise, korjamise ja säilitamise kohta;
•saad nautida sügisest metsarahu ja veeta meeldivalt aega looduses.

Soovitame tulla retkele keskkonnasõbralikult rongiga. Kohtume Tõravere raudteejaamas, kust alustame ühist jalutuskäiku metsa seenele.
Retk toimub vähemalt 10 osaleja registreerumisel.

Retkele tulles riietu vastavalt ilmastikule ning võta kaasa seenekorv ja võimalusel ka seenenuga.

Matk jääb ära vaid väga vihmase ilma puhul või gruppi mittetäitumisel.
Matka ärajäämisest teavitame hiljemalt 12. septembri hommikul.

Tartu Nature House invites you on a mushroom walk!

The mushroom walk begins at Tõravere railway station, from where we will head together into the diverse forests of Vapramäe to discover and learn about mushrooms.

The varied landscape of Vapramäe and its different types of forest habitats provide excellent growing conditions for a wide range of fungi. During the walk, we will learn to identify both common edible and poisonous mushrooms, as well as discover various fungi that grow on trees, and lichens. We will talk about fungal ecology and how to forage for mushrooms in an environmentally responsible way.

The walk will be led by an experienced mushroom expert who will share practical advice on identifying, picking, and safely consuming mushrooms, and will help identify species found during the walk.

During the walk:

• discover the diverse fungal kingdom of the Vapramäe forests;
• get practical advice on identifying, picking, and preserving mushrooms;
• enjoy the peace of the autumn forest and spend a pleasant day in nature.

We recommend travelling to the walk by train. We will meet at Tõravere railway station and begin our walk into the forest to look for mushrooms.

The walk will take place provided that at least 10 participants register.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a mushroom basket and, if possible, a mushroom knife.

The walk will only be cancelled in the event of very heavy rain or in the case of too few participants. We will notify you by the morning of September 12 at the latest if the walk is cancelled.
