🎃👻 Halloween Sensory Play 🕸️🧙🏻‍♀️

Prepare for a spooky-fun adventure this Halloween! Our themed messy play session is not scarry at all and ready for hands-on experience for children aged **8 months to 8 years **, designed to spark curiosity, imagination, and fine motor skills. We use taste-safe and edible materials whenever as possible, though some dry bases (like rice) require supervision for mouthing babies.

What to Expect

🎃 Jack-O-Lantern: Scoop-and-pour station with orange rice, themed bottles, and plenty of pumpkin fun.
🧙🏻‍♀️ Witch's Potion: Create magical mixtures with colored bottles, mini cauldrons, and spooky ingredients.
🕸 Spider's Cobweb: Use tongs to rescue spiders from the sticky cobweb — great for fine motor practice!
🐍 Creepy Crawlers: Spaghetti play with hidden bugs — little ones can use scissors to cut and rescue them.
🦴 Bones Graveyard: Dig through sand to uncover hidden bones in this adventurous station.
👻 Spooky Gloopy: Tapioca pearls with pots, funnels, and maybe even some wiggly eyeballs!
⛺ Halloween Tent: Rest inside our cozy themed tent with a projector, the book “Room on the Broom,” sensory bottles, toys, and other surprises.
🎨 Halloween Playdough: Themed playdough with mats, rollers, cutters, and special tools.

✨ We always add a few extra surprises and activities to make each session unique!

Important Information

• Location: Kultuurikeskus Kaja, side entrance. Someone in a logo t-shirt will guide you if needed.
• Parents: This is a child-led space! Sit on the floor, follow your child’s lead, and enjoy the experience together. Both parents are welcome free of charge.
• What to Bring:
  • socks for both child and parent.
  • Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting messy.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Warm water, wipes, and towels are available for cleanup. Materials are safe but please supervise your child to avoid excessive eating or misuse.

Reminders

• Shoes: Please remove shoes before entering the play space.
• Snacks: Snacks must be eaten outside the room. Wash hands carefully before returning to play to protect children with allergies.
• Illness: If your child is sick, please stay home and join us another day.
• Photos: Photos are welcome! Tag us on social media, but please respect other families’ privacy by not posting children’s faces.

• A full prepayment is required to secure your spot.
• For cancellations, please give at least 48 hours’ notice.
• In case of illness, contact Lia at [email protected] to reschedule or transfer your spot to a friend.
• Share your fun photos with us by email if you’d like!
