Marina and Orlando are in love and planning a future together. Marina, a young waitress, dreams of becoming a singer, while twenty years older Orlando owns a printing company.

One night after celebrating Marina’s birthday, Orlando suddenly collapses from a medical episode. This marks the beginning of Marina’s nightmare. Neither Marina’s grief nor her identity as a trans woman is respected. Orlando’s ex-family is in a hurry to erase any trace of Marina from the late man’s life.

Mónica Celeste, who runs the Queer Feminist Film Club, and Moritz Müller, a board member of Euphoria Borealis, discuss trans-authorship and the film itself before the film begins. Both of their short films have been shown at numerous Finnish film festivals.
