Scandinavian values inspire the business leadership event itself. It introduces speakers with different professional backgrounds, inspiring both head & heart to share their experience on relevant topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, meeting professional and private challenges, and work & life balance.

You can purchase your ticket via the link before the 25th of October, 2023. As there are limited seats, please get your ticket fast.

Agenda:

  • Gathering (12:30 - 13:00)
  • Greetings from the General manager of NECC (13:00 – 13:05)
  • Interview with Katre Kõvask, „Balancing the scales: a candid conversation on navigating losses, celebrating successes, and mastering work-life harmony“ (13:05 - 13:45)
  • Interactive workshop with business coach and motivational speaker Leanika Järve "Balancing act: The key to Business Growth for modern leaders" (13:45-14:20) - A modern leader often faces a challenging paradox: managing the day-to-day operations of a company while simultaneously planning long-term business strategies for the company's success. Let's discuss how to strike a balance between the daily operational tasks and business growth strategies.
  • Break 15 minutes (coffee & snacks)
  • Presentation by Kristian Wulfsberg Majer on "Behaviour is irrelevant, motivation is everything" (14:35 - 15:15) - It is not what you do that matters. It is why you do it. Understanding human motivations is essential in succeeding in all parts of business, whether it be: Go-to market strategies, sales, branding, building culture, creating investor pitches and so on. In this workshop you will learn new methodology on how to understand human motivations, get real life examples and get the newest research on how to succeed with Norwegian business segments.
  • Networking (15:15 - 16:00)

About the speakers

  • Katre Kõvask - "During the past 20+ years, it has been my privilege to build, turn around, merge, and sustain brands and companies. Mainly in the food sector, but also has some experience with pharmacies, on-board catering, international franchises, and duty-free business. I have been busy with innovation, revolution, and evolution while gathering experiences that might be funny and educating and have brought change and some good memories. Some wins, many losses, and maybe there’s something to learn about. All in all, definitely still far away from a great work life- private life balance, and unsure whether there must be a line between those two. So, putting it all together, let's have a chat and some fun, too!"

  • Leanika Järve is an experienced business growth strategist with over 15 years in the business world. She has founded and led several businesses, including introducing the world's largest franchise network, RE/MAX, into the Estonian market. A strong focus on sales and elevating customer service standards marks Leanika's journey. She has trained over 5,000 people, making her a unique source of experience that she leverages to help businesses succeed. Outside of her professional life, Leanika is a mother of four, an enthusiastic sports lover, and a community-driven individual who enjoys interacting with people more than anything else.

  • Kristian Wulfsberg Majer has worked in more than 25 countries globally with some of the largest brands in the world: IKEA, Carlsberg, Autostore, Coca-Cola, reMarkable, Danone, Sanofi, Juventus and many more. He also works as a visiting professor teaching at the Masters and CEMS level. Finally he works with a lot of startups through his company’s Change Makers program.
