PRINT LIKE IKOU TSCHÜSS — From Concept to Finished Piece with Guya Marini
Tuesday 2. June at 18:00 - 21:00
MAISON SHIFT, Zürich
In this workshop with Guya Marini, co founder of Ikou Tschüss, you design your own silk scarf from the initial idea to the final artwork.
Whether working with collage or paint, you develop your design step by step on paper. The focus is on an open, experimental approach to making. You explore different materials, textures, and colours, gradually building your own visual language.
In the next step, your design is digitised and refined by a graphic designer. It is then printed onto high quality silk in a traditional silk printing workshop in Como and hand rolled. The family run atelier is known for its careful craftsmanship, sustainable production, and high quality standards. Once your scarf is finished, it will be sent to you by post.
Tip: If you want to edit your sketch digitally, please bring your own computer. If you plan to work with your own images, bring them in high resolution.
