About the speakers:
Dr. Valérie M. Saintot, LL.M., is lawyer, author, adjunct professor at SKEMA business school, doctoral supervisor with Gloucestershire University and LegalTech lecturer since 2020 with Bucerius Law School (DE) and since 2024 with Karlstad University (SE). She holds four postgraduates in law, psychology of change, and management research. She has 30 years of experience in both private and EU public sector. Her practice areas encompass legal tech and design, AI for knowledge workers, leadership, organizational performance, and digital transformation. Her keynotes cover the relations between human and machines/AI, collective intelligence, mindfulness, and sustainability.
Barbora Obračajová is a versatile designer with expertise in law, legal technology, operations, digital products, and education. With over seven years in top law firms, she leads the project management lab for Dentons' Europe M&A/Corporate Group. Barbora values creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and multidisciplinary approaches. She founded the legal innovation blog Attorney-at-Code and has developed training programs and a legal design course at Charles University in Prague. A self-taught programmer, she enjoys working with Swift and Power Platform, and is proud of her ML-powered Minesweeper in Python. She is also admitted to practice law with distinction by the Czech Bar Association.
