The HeartBeat dance community invites you to a special morning to celebrate joyful and colorful life.

Come to an ecstatic dance on Sunday morning to move exactly as your body needs - to dance and enjoy the company of friends. Ecstatic dance is a free form of dance. Dancing begins with a warm-up to arrive in the space, leave everyday thoughts behind and slowly signal to the body that it's time to dance. We don't have a teacher/instructor as such, and we can be inspired by each other.

At our dance party, you'll always find a DJ spinning records who can freely move the music in one direction or another, sensing our audience and the dancers' needs on the spot. Also, our musical journey always has a very good sound system with proper bass resonance.

Our Schedule is as simple as life should be:
10:30 - 11:00 Room open for arrivals and meetings with new and old friends
11:00 - 11:30 Opening circle and warm-up exercises
11:30 - 13:00 Freedom Dance with different waves - our resident DJ LAYQA at the console
13:00 - 13:30 Landing, integration, and experience recording
13:30 - 14:00 Nice snacks from us & conversations at the kitchen table
14:00 - Home, nature, or elsewhere - where does your soul want to go?

You can come anytime and leave anytime - it's still a space of freedom. If there's no one checking tickets, you'll find the organizers on the dance floor.

Agreements:
— Come as you are — No previous dance experience needed, bring your friends!
— Authenticity in silence — On the dance floor, we don't chat or tell stories, that can be done at the snack table in the other room.
— Device-free zone — We invite you to leave your digital assistants on silent mode or turned off in your jacket pocket or bag.

Our dance events usually take place at the Taiji club, which has nice wooden floors for dancing and a cozy room for eating snacks and networking after the dance. Those who wish can also take a warm shower after dancing.

DJ LAYQA is a master of shamanic sound art who has conquered both Burning Man and AfrikaBurn dance floors with his unique musical alchemy, bringing together ancient sound rituals and contemporary electronic music. His ability to read the room's energy and mix different music genres into one united flow that has led him to perform worldwide, including recent adventures in mystical places in India. Every Layqa’s set is like a transformative sound journey that invites you to discover the liberating power of dance and the magic of community, while being full of surprises and joyful moments of recognition.

Our dance season lasts until the end of May, occasionally we dance at other times too.
