Co-creation continues in full swing, and at this Friday evening dance celebration we are joined not only by DJ Layqa but also by Kristin Kalnapenk, who after the dance journey will perform an hour-long concert with her band, offering a chance to go deep within yourself or simply enjoy one of Estonia's most distinctive country musicians.

Toomas & Kristin invite you to this fresh spring opening, an opportunity to come into your body and slow down. Life moves fast for all of us, and that is exactly why we need moments to simply be. Let us be together as a community, among beautiful souls, and enjoy the finest musically guided conscious journeys. In addition to the band concert, Kristin will also bring her voice into the second part of the dance.

At HeartBeat, dance journeys are always as deep as you wish to go, and celebration is always welcome, because life is worth celebrating every single day. Before the dance journey you can tune in, warm up, and arrive softly into the space with our team's guidance. DJ LAYQA

DJ Layqa is the founder of HeartBeat Estonia and a master of shamanic sound art, whose music is anything but monotonous, ordinary club music.

With over 230 performances around the world, including Burning Man 2022 & 2023, AfrikaBurn, and Costa Rica, Layqa has developed a signature style that weaves organic house, psy-trance, shamanic rhythms, and many different genres into one cohesive sound journey. He frequently incorporates live-instrument bandmates and his own voice as healing tools to open something deep and authentic within listeners.

His journeys are like a cosmic voyage: the beginning is quiet and soft, like a slow breath, guiding you step by step toward ecstasy, freedom, and an experience of complete presence. This is not just dance, it is a dance with everything that is. Every track is a new stretch of road, every rhythm an invitation to transform. Every breath is new and unrepeatable.

KRISTIN KALNAPENK

Kristin Kalnapenk is a composer, singer, and aerial acrobat whose work takes the listener on a deep inner journey. Her music blends original compositions, jazz influences, and stories of nature, humanity, and emotion.

Joining her on stage are Raimond Mägi on double bass and Andres Olema on dobro, forming an intimate acoustic trio.

Having spent part of her childhood in Spain, Kristin sings in Estonian, English, and Spanish, weaving jazz, reggae-inflected rhythms, and Estonian folk influences into her music. Her work explores themes of love, hope, and authentic self-expression.

Kristin is a graduate of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and is currently pursuing a master's degree in jazz at Capital University (USA). Her song "Find a Way" reached the semi-finals of Eesti Laul and has been played on international radio.

This will be an intimate acoustic concert where bluegrass and folk intertwine with improvisation and soulful stories of life and love.

Why come and dance?

Ecstatic dance is your chance to feel free and move exactly as your body and soul desire. The music carries you, and within the rhythms you can flow exactly as your body guides. Sometimes a dance journey is a held inner exploration, sometimes magical co-creation, sometimes a pure explosion of celebration. Joy arises regardless, because moving feels good, and that is enough. Dancing together in a shared space creates an indescribable synergy, and that chemistry is a rare find.

To create a supportive space for dancers, we have a few agreements:

• No prior dance experience needed, bring your friends too!

• We dance substance-free, and we do not talk in the dance space. This way everyone can safely be on their own journey, which can be very beautiful, tender, and deep.

• Phone-free space: we do not film or photograph dancers, and we encourage you to do the same. This way we can be truly present and in genuine authenticity.

• Bring your own water bottle and dress comfortably, the space is warm. A cozy blanket is lovely for the closing relaxation.

We are located on the border of the Uus Maailm and Kitseküla districts, specifically in a limestone building on the right side next to the viaduct when arriving from the city centre over the Pärnu mnt overpass. The entrance is on the courtyard side, on the railway-facing wing from the Magdalena Hospital side. A large silver letter E hangs next to the door.

Parking around the building is free.
