Led by Fotografiska’s knowledgeable guides, the tour will share fascinating stories and intriguing details, ensuring that you leave with a little more than you arrived with, every time.
The ‘NUDE’ exhibition showcases interpretations of the nude body from 32 female artists, including Estonian artists Cloe Jancis and Marlen Kärema. Through diverse creative approaches, these artists break free from traditional representations of the nude, presenting the body with raw honesty and glory, a contemporary freshness, and liberation from restrictions – all viewed through the female gaze. The result is an environment where conventional roles no longer apply, perspectives shift, and power hierarchies are turned on their heads.
Shepard Fairey is one of the most renowned and provocative street artists, with over 135 murals worldwide. He gained widespread recognition during the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign with his iconic ‘HOPE’ portrait of Barack Obama, as well as through the rise of his OBEY clothing brand. Now, his art is featured at Fotografiska, blending iconic past works with new pieces created specifically for this exhibition, culminating in a captivating visual experience called ‘Photo Synthesis’.
