About the workshop
Characters are always most interesting when we know them and what they care about. What really drives them to do/say/feel the way they do.
This workshop focuses on the art of giving and receiving gifts in a scene and how to PLAY them fully. We will focus on understanding:
When to endow your fellow player with gifts and attributes
The types of gifts that are helpful versus create problems in a scene
How to give gifts that move the scene forward and pique interest but don't take away a player's autonomy in building their own character.
Practice how to fully EMBODY a gift given to another player or yourself to move the gift out of the verbal and into the physical!
Workshop takes place at the Teachers Club on Wednesday 1st July from 7pm to 9:30pm.
