You are invited to participate in one of six private walks, titled “UNDERFIELD”, taking place in the city of Tallinn on September 24 and 25 along the notions of landscape, peasants and paganism. The walks are organized by artist Gisèle Gonon, who is currently in residence at Tallinn Art Hall. The walks are intended for one participant at a time, but you are allowed one guest if necessary. The discussion will take place in English, duration max 1h.

Gisèle Gonon is a French visual artist based in Berlin. Her research focuses on agriculture and its production models in relation to her experience on the family farm in France. She deals particularly with issues related to the commons and the questions of (re)appropriation of arable land and knowledge.
The residency program is organized by Tallinn Art Hall in partnership with Goethe-Institut Estland. The aim of this program is to spur artistic research and discourse in Tallinn on the topics of ecological awareness, environmental sustainability, and the ethics of making art.
