Shuttle buses to Gauja Trail by UTMB 2026

On August 1-2, 2026, Latvia will host its largest trail running event to date - Gauja Trail by UTMB, bringing together thousands of runners from all over the world. To ensure a sustainable and comfortable journey to the race, we are organizing special shuttle buses for all race distances. Trips are scheduled so that runners arrive at the start 90 minutes before their race with enough time to prepare. The buses are open to everyone - both athletes and supporters.

Departure times from Rīga to Sigulda, Ratnieki and Cēsis

All buses depart from the center of Rīga - Aspazijas bulvāris 7.

🏁 Saturday, August 1
🚌 04:00 - departure to the 100K start in Sigulda
🚌 10:00 - departure to the 20K start in Cēsis

🏁 Sunday, August 2
🚌 05:00 - departure to the 50K start in Ratnieki
🚌 07:00 - departure to the 10K & Youth start in Cēsis

15 minutes after the start, the buses will head from the start venue to the finish location in Cēsis. Supporters can watch the long distance (100K and 50K) starts live and then ride along to the finish to cheer their runners at the finish line.

Return trips from Cēsis to Rīga after the race

With a Round Trip ticket, choose the return time that suits you best:

August 1: 19:30 (after the award ceremony), 21:00 or 01:30 at night (after the cut-off)
August 2: 17:30 (after the award ceremony) or 20:00 (after the cut-off)

Single ride tickets are perfect for team members, family and supporters - anyone can use our buses, not just race participants.

🎒 Luggage storage - belongings CANNOT be left on the bus, please drop them off at the event luggage storage and the organisers will transport it.
