Fuzzhoneys is a female duo from Malta. Their sound can be summarised as garage rock, spiced up with elements of the Blues, a dash of girly punk and a whole lot of soul. A combination of Francesca's husky vocals, groovy bass lines and crispy riffs, and Nicole's incisive drum beats, Fuzzhoneys’ music is engagingly unique and vibrant. The fuzz started to grow in the summer of 2012. The mutual influences - The Doors, The Beatles, Blur, The White Stripes, The Black Keys - were taken as inspiration to collaborate with no rules but to express. The fruition of the influence brought a project that has been evolving endlessly on stage since 2014. Featuring the first COMEBACK show at Storeroom this year, with a new line-up and special collaborations opening the next chapter of the album HUSH. The live sets this year are exploring tracks which extend the previous punk groove to another level, with songs written during COVID about human rights, climate change, as well as technology. The project in 2026 is now approaching the other side of these rights with light and colour to the challenges of the human experience, evolving the punk with elements of indie, blues and psychedelia.
