About your host
Before becoming a comedian, Nezar spent more than 15 years working in sales, sustainability, humanitarian aid, technology, tourism, hospitality, and “intercultural integration” across three continents.
After failing high school for two years, he got into — and dropped out of — engineering, IT, and business programs. He later earned a bachelor’s degree in social sciences in Estonia and a master’s degree in Islamic Studies in Poland, where he is now working on a PhD comparing jokes about Islam in mosques, universities, and comedy clubs.
Nezar has a dog and a driving licence.
