Emerging Artists platform
For the first time, Fotografiska Tallinn brings together a new wave of image-makers from across the region. “Emerging Artists: The Baltics & Finland” is a platform for fresh perspectives – work that is searching, bold, and in sync with the pulse of our time.
The inaugural exhibition brings together artists from all four countries, opening up personal worlds, testing the boundaries of photography, and offering new ways to experience the present moment. All artists have been selected through an open call, and for many, this marks their first appearance on a stage of this scale – with some series being shown publicly for the very first time.
The exhibition "Emerging Artists 2026: The Baltics & Finland" features:
Annemarija Gulbe, Krišjānis Elviks & Anna Ansone (Latvia), Ieva Baltaduonytė (Lithuania), Shia Rówan Conlon (Finland), Karl Ketamo (Finland), Anna-Liisa Kree (Estonia), Andra Rahe (Estonia), Filips Smits (Latvia), Pavelas Šalaikiskis (Lithuania).
„Emerging Artists 2026“ Opening Night
The exhibition opens during Fotografiska Night Shift – set to dimmed lights, music, and the energy of the evening. DJ Siim Pojeng shapes the mood, the 3rd floor bar is open, and the museum, dressed for the night, invites you to explore.
20.00–22.00 | Art in 15 at “Emerging Artists 2026” Short, informal encounters with the artists – each sharing their story, their work, and their perspective.
20.00–00.00 | All exhibitions open Alongside Emerging Artists, discover the summer season’s major exhibition Photography in Power as well as Inta Ruka’s Places Called Home.
As every Friday, doors remain open until midnight – come when it suits you and experience new photographic art. Admission to Fotografiska Night Shift is €10 (free for Fotografiska Membership).
