Fortune Yeller

Friday 14. November at 19:00 - 20:30

Heldeke!, Tallinn

For one night only, the magical duo of the drag princess, Cvm Unity, and her faithful companion, Miss V, will take the stage to reveal your fortune, hex wronguns, and most of all — make you laugh and gasp in awe.

You've likely been read your fortune or have seen it done onto others with the help of tarot cards. Swords, hearts — they've got nothing on what is in store for you.
Cvm Unity's devination weapon of choice is a good 'ol deck of Sh.t Happens. What could it mean if your love life card comes out as "Too close to the volcano edge, fall in lava!"? Will you get that promotion if you've "Gone fishing... impaled by swordfish!"?

With a Romani great-grandmother who got kicked out of their tabor camp for predictions so accurate they were deemed curses, and a great psychiatrist mother, whose influence needs not be explained, Cvm Unity's readings are always unhinged and spot-on, if not a little too scarily accurate.

As for Miss V, think of her as a clown who entered a strip joint thinking it was an audition for the remake of "Ladies of the Chorus".

What to expect

The show will consist of two parts with an intermission to refresh your drinks and minds.
You can book a random seat, a table for two (includes a snack plate), or discounted tickets: Premonition for early birds, and Discounted Destiny for students, differently abled, pensioners, and underemployed.

As add-ons, you can purchase: Divine Plattervention, or a snack plate for two (does not include a VIP table); Fool’s Journey, or a live stage reading; or Patron of Prophecies, or a live stage reading at a rate of your choosing (includes extra voluntary donation).

Cvm Unity and her deck will answer simple audience questions, invite those who purchased the Fool's Journey and Patron of Prophecies onto the stage to give them a longer reading on the chosen topic (love, work, geopolitics — anything goes), and have the audience weigh in. In between the witchcraft, expect jokes, theatrics, and a surprise number from Miss V.

How to prepare

Think of questions you'd like answers to — anonymously or not, — and problems you'd like to resolve (or pretend to).

Featuring

Cvm Unity Surwigs is the drag persona of Jana Levitina, the Rustonian comedienne and co-foundress of P.ssy Jam Comedy, the Tallinn-based FLINTA comedy collective — a group notorious for not allowing cis-men on stage.

"Thick with puns and campy deadpan, just as happy to skewer historical figures as modern types, including ourselves" - Sour Cream and Dill

"She's funny" - Ari Matti

*Cvm Unity's preferred pronouns are “cummunitarian we/our” when spoken of. Because it’s not “her show” that is great, but “our show”.
