Tehnopol campus science competition
Thursday 13. November at 14:00 - 16:00
Tehnopol Science and Business Park, Tallinn
On November 10, the world celebrates World Science Day. While we will be celebrating a bit later than the actual date, our event will be no less festive. On November 13, we invite all members of the Tehnopol campus community, friends, and neighbours to join us for the campus science competition.
Logic, knowledge, and skill will be put to the test. Can experienced tech entrepreneurs, engineers, and scientists build the Goldberg machine as quickly as young science enthusiasts? 🧑‍🔬
A Goldberg machine, or chain reaction machine, is a device that performs a simple task in an intentionally complex yet creative way – for example, lighting a flame or dropping a ball by using interconnected mechanisms and reactions. Building such a machine enhances teamwork, as it requires joint planning, experimentation, and creative problem-solving. It’s a fun and engaging way to develop ingenuity, creativity, and collaboration – each team member can contribute to making the machine run as a smooth chain reaction.
🏆 Form a team of 4 and come test your scientific abilities! The best teams will be rewarded with fame, glory, and exciting prizes. All spectators are also welcome to join us.
