Blobs, dogs, or worms; things for rings, or holders for tiny things… Create weird and wonderful little trinkets with air-drying clay in this full-day guided creative session.
How does it work?
“Dala what you must” is a South African phrase that we use to say: Do what you need to do. Literally, it translates to “create what you must”.
So, don’t think of this as a typical structured workshop, but rather as a safe place to experiment, try something new, and really just unwind and forget about the world for a little bit. Nice people, chilled vibes, tasty snacks, and of course, getting crafty :D Sounds good, right?
The General Plan
12:30 - 13:30
I’ll show you the basics of shaping the clay and using the tools. You’ll have some time to get a feel for the materials and think of some ideas.
13:30 - 15:00
You will have free time to start making your little creations. Whatever shapes and creatures come to mind, I’ll be there to help you bring them to life. But honestly, this is your time to play, so just have some fun!
While your trinkets dry and I help prepare them for painting, you’ll have the time to enjoy some tasty snacks and drinks.
15:30 - Your tiny artworks are ready to go home
You can take your time decorating and painting. Whether you want to spend 15 minutes or 3 hours on the final touches, the session will be open to you until 19:00, so feel free to use up the time how you like!
Guided creative sessions in a mistake-friendly, judgement-free environment.
Literally no skills required.
