Programme: music of the Baltic States
Consisting of members from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, the ensemble will be making its very first appearance on May 1, having undergone a residency before that. The members of the ensemble are linked by a jazz music background, but their focus has shifted significantly towards contemporary music, free improvisation and experimental projects. The programme includes pieces by the ensemble members – they undoubtedly display details characteristic of their native backgrounds, but at the same time they strive to find a common and coherent musical language.

Kaspars Kurdeko – percussion (Latvia)
Raimond Mägi – double bass (Estonia)
