June 20th A Day with Indrek 5-6pm Work in progress sharing “L'Empire des lumières”

Evening full of gratitude towards people who I have shared space with during this one year in Residency. You will see different duets that are narrative fragments of a whole.

Fragments are based on how i have worked with people, what are our mutual interests and where did we arrive together.

Everything that happens on stage comes together for the first time when you see it.

This process will continue for the next 20 years. Every fragment can be removed and more fragments can be added. Something will always remain the same.

In the process, a ripple effect occurs when an initial fragment in a system propagates outward to disturb an increasingly larger portion of the system, like ripples expanding across the water when an object is dropped into it.

Ripple effect will start from the first fragment, continue til the end of the evening. Furthermore, ripples from the first fragment will continue til the last fragment is on stage 20 years later.

Performance is inspired by the works of Ágota Kristóf, René Magritte and the novel “Cloud Atlas” written by David Mitchell.

For the 3rd year TantsuRUUM is hosting a season-long residency for a group of dance artists. This year's residency will be condensing into and opening sweetly as a celebratory festival. Organized by season’s 2020/21 artists in residence Tatjana Romanova, Pääsu-Liis Kens, Eva O. & Σofia, Indrek Kornel, reSIDEntuurresidenTUUR is a festival of performances, sharings, workshops and dialogues - an opportunity to gather in dance and in our bodies.
