EYFDM Forum 2026: extra social activities

Welcome to the EYFDM Forum 2026 and Welcome to Tallinn, Estonia! We are truly happy to see you already in January and although your days are filled with EYFDM activities, we still hope you have a chance to explore the city! 🤩🇪🇪

• Explore Tallinn Hanseatic Old Town with a local guide
  ​​On this daytime Old Town walking tour we cover all the most important sights of the medieval city, we’ll explore the Unesco World Heritage site from the bustling main streets to less known side alleys. You’ll see the beautiful old churches, unique merchant houses, historic town hall, imposing city defenses, take a look at the Parliament Building (Toompea Palace) and visit the picturesque viewing platforms.

• Special tour: Old Town lantern-lit walking tour in the magical winter evening
  When the sun sets, a whole new world opens up. On this tour we will focus not only on the well-known sights, but the lesser-known surroundings of the Old Town as well. Grab a lantern and get ready to explore the hidden details of Tallinn’s medieval centre: from the old city walls to evidence of original settlements and the green belt that surrounds the Old Town. Don't worry, the famous sights are on the route as well and a hot drink will wait for you.

• Tour in Raeapteek (Town hall Pharmacy) with herb workshop
  Raeapteek is the oldest pharmacy in Europe that has continuously been in business in the same building. The exact opening date is not known, but in 1422 the pharmacy already had its third owner (603 years ago!) Come and explore the pharmacy on a guided tour, its rich history and get to know more about Medieval treating methods. After the tour, you will get a chance to pound your own herbal tea and pack it according to the era and take it home as a souvenir. The brave ones can have a taste of the medieval magical medication called "Klarett".

• Relax after the Forum at IgluSauna
  Take your time….to enjoy. You do not need much to feel great - good sauna, refreshing sea air and, if desired, a nice swim. In addition, a private terrace above the sea with an amazing view, comfortable sit-back and good friends - a perfect ending for the perfect weekend and all this is included in the sauna of Noblessner Iglupark.

• Go ice skating at Uisupark, Old Town ice rink

Please note that:

• Friday evening (January 30) dinner party with a packed entertainment program at the Arter Kvartal is already included in your conference ticket price!
• Saturday evening (January 31) optional Medieval Olde Hansa dinner party is unfortunately sold out but we hope to see everyone afterwards at the Official Afterparty with free entrance!
• Moreover, there will be a pre-Forum social gathering with free entrance already on Thursday evening (January 29)!
