BARDHOUSE: A Night of Spoken Word, Hip Hop, and Song
Sunday 17. May at 20:00 - 21:30
Austin's diner, Barcelona
Bardhouse is a monthly celebration of local and international artists slamming words and flowing over beats. Join us at Charlzz Music Hall to watch some of Barcelona's biggest talents bring beats and rhymes to life! The show is split into two halves: the first is spoken word, and the second is dance and music, a trifecta of talent all in one place. Got rhymes of your own? We'll finish the show with a chance for audience members and performers to participate in a freestyle rap. There's no better way to spend a Sunday than with cheap drinks, art, and music.
Featuring spoken word artists:
Madeline Capo
Yzaura
Rappers:
Kaler
Mike Shinobi
Plus two, five-minute open mic spots for members of the audience who want to perform either music or poetry.
Doors 19:30
Show starts: 20:00
7 euros online, 10 at the door
Produced by Mariah Girouard and Luke Messina
Keep in mind that while we celebrate diversity of languages and cultures, the spoken word section is almost always exclusively in English.
