The workshop "From Risk to Evidence: Cybersecurity Management and Forensic Readiness" takes place in-person on 11 September 2026 from 09:00–11:00 at TalTech Mektory (Raja 15), Room MEK-114 (ScreenX Hall).
This session is designed for managers and professionals with a (basic) technical background who want to strengthen their understanding of cybersecurity risk management and organisational readiness for incidents. The event will be held in English.
The workshop builds on ITL’s 2026 cyber threat discussions, focusing on how organisations can improve risk visibility, preparedness, and response capability.
What to expect?
how to approach and communicate cybersecurity risk
practical methods for identifying and managing risks
introduction to forensic readiness and its relation to cybersecurity risks
hands-on group exercises based on realistic case scenarios, where participants will identify organisational goals and relevant risks, discover and map available evidence within systems
Assess and improve organisation’s forensic readiness
This approach helps organisations respond more effectively to incidents, compliance requirements, legal processes, disputes, and gain insight into near misses – all while optimising the cost of evidence handling and response.
