NATO-EU Roundtable 2026 - Shaping the Future of Euro-Atlantic Security
Reede, 17. aprill kell 08:30 - 17:00
Nordic Hotel Forum, Tallinn
NATO-EU Roundtable 2026: Shaping the Future of Euro-Atlantic Security is the 14th edition of this flagship event of the Estonian Atlantic Treaty Association (EATA), bringing together senior decision-makers, diplomatic representatives, business leaders, experts, and exceptionally motivated young professionals for a focused day of high-level discussion in Tallinn.
Held under the Chatham House Rule and limited to 100 participants, the Roundtable is designed as a serious and high-calibre forum rather than a mass public event. The programme will explore the future of NATO-EU cooperation, transatlantic security, defence policy and industrial shifts, and the growing role of artificial intelligence in security and defence. Participants will hear insights from speakers including Oliver Mõru, H.E. Mr. Laird Garfield Hindle, Ambassador of Canada to Estonia, H.E. Mr. Jan Scheer Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Estonia, Magnus-Valdemar Saar, Dr. Sam Potolicchio, Dr. Kristi Raik, and Elis Paemurd, alongside other distinguished contributors helping shape the discussion on Europe’s strategic future.
For embassies and diplomatic missions, the Roundtable offers a rare opportunity to engage a highly motivated and internationally minded audience while also identifying promising future voices, partners, and talent capable of carrying ideas forward with clarity and credibility. For businesses and organisations, it provides access to the policy, security, and technology discussions increasingly shaping competitive advantage, while also creating direct contact with ambitious young professionals and emerging talent. For members of the public and aspiring professionals, it is a chance to enter a room defined by substance, access, and meaningful exchange, and to engage directly with the people and ideas shaping the Euro-Atlantic space.
As one of EATA’s longest-standing and most recognised initiatives, the NATO-EU Roundtable has developed into a trusted platform for bringing together different sectors that do not often meet in one room with this level of focus. The 2026 edition is organised in cooperation with key partners including the Estonian Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, the European Commission, and the Baltic-American Freedom Foundation.
