An occasion for all Flamenco guitar players in and around Tallinn to gather together.

❓ 𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡? ❓

Simple: we gather. We take our guitars and play together technique exercises, repeat some Flamenco rhythms, accompany each other, learn a couple of new chords or melodies… No concrete level is required, we will adapt to the general level of the group and play things that everyone can follow and with which all of us can improve.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 thanks to Heldeke Bar´s generosity, but spare cash after the event is appreciated and welcome.

This is an event for 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 who play Flamenco, as well as for those who play other guitar styles but are interested in Flamenco (and have a classical nylon-string guitar).
No previous level or experience is needed, we will adapt to the general level and mood of the room,exactly as we do in this kind of gatherings among guitar-playing-friends in Spain.

⚠ ❗𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿! ❗ It must be a nylon-string Spanish/Classical/Flamenco guitar
Why? Because the kind of technique we will train is not suitable for electric guitar, nor acoustic guitar with metal strings.

🤏𝐴 𝑓𝑒𝑤 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑠🤏
A fundamental part of any musician´s activity is having the chance to play with other musicians. The part of studying alone with a metronome and music sheets is easily arranged. However, the part of gathering with other Flamenco musicians to play, learn, and enjoy together is more difficult. If you are lucky to live in Spain, in any of the Flamenco-loving communities, you just have to take a walk in the nearest park or visit the main Flamenco bars late at night bringing your guitar to get this experience. Outside these Spanish Flamenco communities, the task gets slightly more difficult. With the will of pushing Tallinn Flamenco guitar community in this direction, Heldeke and Jorge Arena will arrange and host these “Encuentros de guitarra flamenca”.
