Fees for international students:

The participation fee is only 19 euros! This includes all the above mentioned: 2 days of academic program, 2 nights of social program, a dinner on 7th March, breakfast and lunch on 8th and 9th March and a walking tour of the city.

Travel expenses and your evening meal on March 8, 2019 are not included in the participation fee.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE Conference (March 8, 2019 at Joint Building of Ministries)

AI Conference is an international conference dedicated to AI impact.

If you are interested in how AI affects your life and work, our economies and societies, this conference is for you.

We welcome IT and non-IT crowd alike. Prior knowledge of AI is not needed.

Speakers:

AI Conference speakers are AI-focused computer scientists, entrepreneurs, public policy leaders and academics.
You will meet and hear from a variety of experts including Katrin Nyman Metcalf (Head of Research at Estonian e-Governance Academy), Thomas Hoffmann (Professor at TalTech), Silja Elunurm (Attorney at NJORD Law Firm), Ott Velsberg (Chief Data Officer of Estonia), Brendan Quinn (Managing Director at IPTC) and many others. AI Conference is moderated by Sten Tikerpe (Chief Legal Officer of Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications).

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE DAY AFTERPARTY (21:00-01:00 on March 8, 2019 at Kultuurikatel)

An exclusive Artificial Intelligence Day afterparty takes place at Kultuurikatel's Katelde Tuba with DJ, snacks, photobox and a social program to get to know each other and network followed by a public party at Kultuurikatel with awesome performers.

AI IMPACT AND POLICY ROUNDTABLES (10:00-15:00 March 9, 2019 at Joint Building of Ministries)

Roundtables will be based on active participation and informal learning. Participants will form 5 groups each with a goal to discuss and provide proposals on a specific AI issue.

There will also be 5 experts who will rotate between the discussion groups the give feedback to ideas. The day ends with a General Assembly and an Open Debate where each group presents their resolution (issue statements and proposals).

The resolutions will provide the Estonian government and the European Commission with insights and feedback from young people on what worries them, how AI should be regulated and which principles ought to be followed.

What language is used at the event?

All presentations and discussions are held in English.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

The mimimum age for this event is 14. There is no maximum age.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Superministeerium (Suur-Ameerika 1) is very accessible by public transport. The closest bus and tram stops are "Kosmos" (250m), "Vineeri" (450m) and train station Lilleküla (900m). What's the refund policy?

We do not accept refunds but you can transfer your ticket to a friend who can come instead of you.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you do not have to take a printed ticket to the event. If you have bought a ticket, we will identifiy you by your name.

Is my ticket transferrable?

Yes, your ticket is transferrable. However, please let us who will be coming instead of you.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket doesn't match the person who attends?

If it does not match, please let us know what is the name of the person who attends.
