Open to anyone interested in bilingualism, especially intended for parents, nannies, other caregivers, and teachers involved with bilingual children.
Passing on the language to future generations is a key issue for maintaining a vigorous Estonian culture and identity. Yet bilingualism isn’t something that happens in and of itself: it often requires work and commitment. To support bilingual children, it’s helpful to understand children’s psychology and linguistic development, as well as popular views (and misconceptions) of bilingualism.
