The world has enough art. Unfortunately, you disagree.
So we're looking for twenty artists and creative people to put around one table.
Painters, writers, musicians, designers, photographers, performers, makers — and people doing things that don't have a proper name yet.
No exhibition. No pitching. No networking. And absolutely no going around the table to “tell us a little about your practice.”
We'll eat, talk, disagree and probably abandon the original subject entirely.
Nothing needs to come out of it. That's rather the point.
THE FOOD
Roast chicken, potatoes, roasted vegetables, salad, good bread and a vegetarian option.
Everything goes in the middle. Help yourself.
If I'm feeling artistic, there might be cake. No promises.
WHAT'S TABLE OF 20?
Every edition, Socialoftas finds 20 people with one strangely specific thing in common and puts them around one table.
Then we feed them and see what happens.
This first one is for people who make things — professionally, badly, beautifully, secretly or obsessively.
Nobody is checking whether you're a real artist at the door.
