〄 Τα «Ξόρκια Ηλεκτρικά» είναι ένα electro project από τον Τάσο Στάμου με τη Χριστέλα Γκιζέλη που εμποτίζει τη ζωντανή ηλεκτρονική μουσική με σαμανικές πρακτικές και σουρεαλιστικές ηχητικές τελετουργίες.

Συνδυάζοντας στοιχεία από τα γκάμελαν μέχρι το synth wave, από τον ελεύθερο αυτοσχεδιασμό μέχρι την παραδοσιακή μουσική και τη disco,το ντούο πραγματοποιεί επί σκηνής ηλεκτρονικά ξόρκια, δημιουργώντας αυτοσχέδια ατμοσφαιρικά ηχοτοπία, άλλοτε στοιχειωμένα κι άλλοτε ειδυλλιακά.

Η παραδοξότητα των fluxus συνθέσεων και των αυτοσχεδιασμών τους οξύνεται από την ιδιόμορφη διαχείριση οργάνων και αντικειμένων αλλά και από την αυτοσχέδια γλώσσα που έχει εφεύρει η Γκιζέλη, επεξεργασμένη ζωντανά από τα ηλεκτρονικά ταχυδακτυλουργικά του Στάμου.

🔸 Ο Τάσος Στάμου είναι συνθέτης ηλεκτροακουστικής μουσικής και αυτοσχεδιαστής,
μουσικός τεχνολόγος και διδάσκων εναλλακτικών μουσικών πρακτικών,
στούντιο και ραδιοφωνικός παραγωγός.
Έχει στο ενεργητικό του πάνω από 20 άλμπουμ εξερευνητικής μουσικής από ανεξάρτητες δισκογραφικές (Discrepant UK, Ikuisuus FL, Moving Furniture Records NL, Orila GR κλπ.).
Έχει συνεργαστεί με πλήθος μουσικών αυτοσχεδιαστών και ηχητικών καλλιτεχνών, όπως οι Adam Bohman, Σαβίνα Γιαννάτου, Steve Beresford, Anna Homler, Ignaz Schick, Magda Mayas,
και έχει στο ενεργητικό του μια μεγάλη λίστα από παρουσιάσεις της δουλειάς του σε φεστιβάλ και χώρους εξερευνητικής μουσικής (Café OTO London, Κέντρο Ελέγχου Τηλεοράσεων Αθήνα, Krama Festival Αθήνα, Sounds of the Underground Festival Lithuania, Incubate Festival Netherlands, Athens Digital Arts Festival, Changeover Festival Serbia, κ.α).

🔸 Η Χριστέλα Γκιζέλη σπούδασε υποκριτική θεάτρου και αυτοσχεδιασμό στη Δραματική σχολή "Βεάκη" και στην Accademia internazionale di teatro (πρώην Circo a vapore) στη Ρώμη με μουσικές σπουδές  στο βιολί , μουσικό πριόνι και  ανώτερα μουσικά θεωρητικά.
Έχει συνεργαστεί ως ηθοποιός, μουσικός  σκηνοθέτης-συγγραφέας και performer με το Εθνικό Θέατρο, Μέγαρο μουσικής Αθηνών, Φεστιβάλ Αθηνών και Επιδαύρου, Osmosis theatre Company, Tnt theatre Britain Company, Lumiere and Son theatre Company, Biennale Νέων Δημιουργών Ευρώπης και Μεσογείου, IETM (International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts), Sibiu International Theatre Festival -FITS (Romania), ΔΗΠΕΘΕ  Βέροιας και Κέρκυρας και άλλες ελεύθερες θεατρικές σκηνές της Αθήνας.

〄 "Electric Spells" (Ξόρκια Ηλεκτρικά) is an electro project by Tasos Stamou featuring Christela Gizeli that infuses live electronic music with shamanic practices and surreal acoustic rituals.

Combining elements ranging from gamelan to synth wave, from free improvisation to traditional music and disco, the duo performs electronic spells on stage, creating improvised atmospheric soundscapes, at times haunted and at times idyllic.

The eccentricity of their fluxus compositions and improvisations is heightened by the unique handling of instruments and objects, as well as the improvised language invented by Gizeli, processed live by Stamou's electronic magic tricks.

🔸 Tasos Stamou is an electroacoustic music composer and improviser, music technologist and tutor of alternative musical practices, studio and radio producer. He has over 20 exploratory music albums to his credit released by independent labels (Discrepant UK, Ikuisuus FL, Moving Furniture Records NL, Orila GR, etc.). He has collaborated with numerous improvising musicians and sound artists, such as Adam Bohman, Savina Yannatou, Steve Beresford, Anna Homler, Ignaz Schick, Magda Mayas, and has an extensive list of presentations of his work at exploratory music festivals and venues (Café OTO London, TV Control Center Athens, Krama Festival Athens, Sounds of the Underground Festival Lithuania, Incubate Festival Netherlands, Athens Digital Arts Festival, Changeover Festival Serbia, etc.).

🔸 Christela Gizeli studied theater acting and improvisation at the "Veaki" Drama School and at the Accademia Internazionale di Teatro (formerly Circo a Vapore) in Rome, with musical studies in violin, musical saw, and advanced music theory. She has collaborated as an actress, musician, director-writer, and performer with the National Theatre, Athens Concert Hall, Athens and Epidaurus Festival, Osmosis Theatre Company, TNT Theatre Britain Company, Lumiere and Son Theatre Company, Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean, IETM (International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts), Sibiu International Theatre Festival - FITS (Romania), Regional Municipal Theatres of Veria and Corfu, and other independent theater stages in Athens.
