Concert "On the Paths of Estonian Music" (Eesti muusika radadel)

Friday 14. February at 18:00 - 19:00

Estonian Theatre and Music Museum • Müürivahe 12, 10146 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Estonia

On the evening of Valentine's Day, at 18:00, the Peeter Süda Hall of the Estonian Theatre and Music Museum will be filled with the sounds of Estonian music. Trumpeters Martin Pajumaa and Villem Süvari and pianist Anneli Tohver will perform a varied programme of works by Estonian composers.

In different combinations, alone and together, they will perform works by Arvo Pärt, Tõnu Kõrvits, Eino Tamberg and Tauno Aints, as well as music by Uno Naissoo and Erich Jalajas. Many of these works are little known, and some of them will be performed from original manuscripts found for this concert in the collection of the Estonian Theatre and Music Museum.

The concert will also be enriched by the opportunity to explore the museum itself, which celebrated its 100th anniversary last year. For this purpose, visitors can buy a combo ticket, which guarantees admission to both the concert and the museum. The museum is open until 18:00 before the concert.
